Adilabad district's traditional herbal forasthma

Abstract

An ethnopharmacological survey was carried out to collect information on the use of medicinal plants in rural areas
of Adilabad district to cure asthma. Questionnaire surveys, participatory observations and field visits were planned
to illicit information on the uses of various plants. It was found that 28 plant species are commonly used by local
people for curing Asthma.
